Drum Corps Leadership & Scholarship Program
PAISOC aims to promote diversity through scholarship and programming. The Drum Corps Leadership and Scholarship program seeks to recognize current and future student leaders of color in the marching arts and broader performing arts world.
Our goal is to first provide mentorship to recipients that allows them to learn and discuss how to become and stand out as positive role models and leaders in drum corps and beyond. This includes a series of online meetings with our Board Members before, during, and after the drum corps season.
Second, we aim to provide up to $1000 in scholarships to go towards drum corps tuition.
Lastly, members of our program are asked to be ambassadors of PAISOC, meaning that they will positively represent and advocate our efforts to promote diversity in the performing arts.
Deadline extended to January 31!
